Toppan Technical Design Center Co., Ltd. (TDC) marked the 30th anniversary of its foundation in 2019. As a semiconductor photomask division of Toppan Inc., we started photomask-related CAD design in 1972. Since then, we have devoted 47 years to a wide variety of developments, becoming a semiconductor expert company.

In 2001, with analog&digital mixed-signal design technology as a core competence, TDC started turnkey businesses ranging from LSI design, prototyping, shuttle services to mass production.Facing drastic structural changes in the semiconductor industry, TDC has engaged in various developments of sophisticated ASICs and achieved volume production supply so as to satisfy increasingly different needs of customers.  For customers, taking on the control of entire production processes from selection of a suitable silicon foundry to package and testing coordination.TDC has offered a full turnkey service to deliver quality assured LSIs. In addition, by exploiting our LSI/module development technologies amid the burgeoning digital transformation, TDC developed communication modules, which are the key components according to the LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) network protocol ZETA supporting wide-range and low-power communication for IoT applications. With the strength of Toppan as a whole, TDC helps customers create values (koto-zukuri) with our manufacturing process technologies (mono-zukuri).
